Hecla Colleagues Represented at Women in Mining USA Annual Conference

Hecla was a prominent silver sponsor the annual Women in Mining USA (WIM) 2026 Annual Conference held in Tucson, Arizona. Four Hecla employees joined industry peers to discuss the future of mining.
Representing Hecla were Michelle Horning, Human Resources Manager at Lucky Friday; Laura Pacholski, Director of Permitting; Sierra Kryser, Environmental Engineer at Greens Creek; and Lori Paslawski, Geologist at Greens Creek, who actively participated in discussions, presentations, and local site tours.
Key discussions focused on the future of mining, including strategies for building strong talent pipelines, fostering innovation, and prioritizing psychological safety, mental health, and inclusive workplace cultures. These themes underscored the industry’s continued evolution and the importance of creating environments where employees can thrive.
